WOMEN OF PURPOSE SAY HI TO LINDY

Last friday at their group Kerry Manning made the statement that Lindy is our Woman of Purpose in Lebanon, so they thought it would be good to send this photo and let you know that they are all praying for you and the family. We had a good day in Port Pirie with the other Pastors and their wives, they appreciated being able to read your report first hand and are amazed at how well you are coping through this experience.

We hope you can get some good nights sleep now that the ceasefire has come into effect and that the tankers can get in and unload fuel. Heaps of love and kisses, grandma Jeanie is keeping well but her shoulders are giving her a lot of pain.

That's great, thank you for that. It is very encouraging to know that people are still praying for us. The ceasfire seems to have held today, but now the real work begins. I spent a number of hours this morning helping put together food packs at the Baptist seminary after the morning prayer meeting. That will probably be a fairly regular morning activity for a while, although I saw on the news tonight that many people are already starting to try and get back to their homes. By the way, is that an orange tree??

Lindy, praise God for opportunities to do some positive stuff in peace. I think it is a fendi (mandarine) branch that Desley used for decore. In the front the candles are intertwined with barbed wire, symbolising our sisters in Christ who are not free to worship as we are. Love you Mum.
