Well, I am impressed that you are all keeping track of the time in Lebanon at all, whether here or on your homepage!! Don't know if you have heard about our fun in Lebanon today. The bomb in Ashrafieh tonight was near Spinneys, and went off about 10-15 mins after Jessie and I were passing by there on our way home from the bus station, having just sent the Brazilian team off to Turkey! Welcome to life in Leb! We are glad to have made it home safely, and of course knew nothing about it at the time. Will put up a proper post soon. LOL to all.
Yes. I was just reading about that. Freaky that you were so close, but very glad to hear that you are safe and well. Love and big squeezy hugs to you all.
79 dead in two days!!! NOT good. Look forward to hearing some news, Lindy, from Lebanon that is more reassuring than more fighting, more deaths, more bombs! REALLY hope that you are all okay, and for what it's worth, I hope that you were able to still have your birthday party last night Lindy!
Thanks Deb, yes we had still had our get together last night, had lots of laughs and silly subjects (mostly about the weird things that some peopel eat!! don't ask me why,) and just finished watching Monty Python when we heard the news of the bomb in Verdun. We are all doing okay though as you might imagine people are getting a bit worried. Will try to put a post up today as I may not go down to the Hamra office today as planned. We will see. Thanks for the prayers though, we are fine. Lots of love to all.
