Hello all. Hope that you are well and looking forward to an enjoyable Easter. Thought it was time to throw up some more photos of the Kitto happenings.
Going back to the last blog post, we were about to see monster trucks. Apart from being freezing cold the kids loved out evening out and the fire works at the end were pretty specky.
Natalie was voted as SRC rep for her class and is enjoying going to meetings and helping to plans things for the school. She even gave a presentation to the school last week reminding them to keep out of the garden beds!
To celebrate winning an acting principal position at Whyalla High for two weeks Stuart bought himself guitar hero. Surprisingly Natalie also got really into it! :)
Cute boys in matching PJs. I know I shouldn't keep matching their clothes, but they are SO cute. And besides, I won't be able to do it much longer as Calvin is going up into size 7 clothes and so into the big boy's clothes section!!! :O
He certainly belongs to us! Elisha already loves the microphone, lol.
Lovely big sister Natalie reading to her little brothers. Eli really likes it when you lie next to him to read. Not only does he like to play with and look at books, but he loves to be read to. Good boy.
This weekend just past, we all travelled down to Thuruna (just south of Tumby Bay) to do the music/up front stuff for a Kid's Camp Out (7-12 yr olds). It was completely stressful and a lot of hard work, but very worth it. The kids enjoyed themselves and Eli was fabulously helpful, sleeping through all of the sessions that we presented. The theme of the camp was KCOnia, a planet where the explorers (campers) flew to meet the KCOnians (that would be us, thus the awesome wigs) where we told them about God's love.
Natalie stood in line for 30mins then 70 minutes then 20 minutes (what amazing patience!!!) to finally have her face painted and this was the result. She was VERY pleased with it.
To start each session the kids walked through this space ship to get to the mat area.
Eli is very very very nearly crawling. He can now head in a straight direction towards his desired destination (nearly always power cables!). I will be Eli proofing the house these holidays (probably with Elisha's help!)
Calvin's class hosted the assembly on Friday the 27th of March. They had made masked and had learned about alliteration. Calvin proudly told the school "I'm Calvin the Cheeky Cheetah."
Eli had decided that this little sword is his. It is one of his most favourite toys! Gosh, he can't tell that he is Calvin's brother!!!
Will be nice to catch up with most of you over the holidays. Love and squeeeeeeezy hugs.
-Debbie and family.
